“Nurture your mind with great thoughts; to believe in the heroic makes heroes.” - Benjamin Disraeli
Last week I invited you to undertake a 21 day PMA (positive mental attitude) challenge… That is, to spend 21 days consciously refusing to accept any negative or limiting beliefs which may negatively affect your attitude or your behaviour.
This can be likened to the analogy of a gardener tending his garden, where your conscious mind is the gardener, and your subconscious mind is the garden.
Whatever seeds (thoughts) the gardener chooses to plant, the soil in the garden will, through the natural processes of nature, faithfully nurture and grow those seeds. Plant weeds and the garden will grow weeds… Fail to tend to the garden regularly and pull out the weeds (negative thoughts) and the weeds will overrun the healthy plants in your garden.
In other words, as you sow in your subconscious mind, so you will reap in your external environment.
Of course, these principles have been taught by many great personal development gurus both past and present, but never before have I seen the principles explained so concisely and as succinctly as in the classic little essay by J.H. Jarrett called, “It Works”.
Distilled from over 300 pages of original material into a 4 page essay, this little eBook is a powerful companion to the 21 day PMA challenge, and is short enough to be read on a daily basis, driving the key messages of the law of cause and effect deep into your subconscious mind, and helping you to consciously choose the seeds you sow.
You can download a copy of “It Works” right now, absolutely free of charge simply by clicking here, and visiting the Free Resources area of Champions Club.
So what of your garden? Will you grow roses or will you grow thistles?
It really is up to you!
Good luck and stay focused!
