It’s often said that life is a journey, and on that journey the road is often rocky as well as smooth…
And sometimes in our lives there are times when everything seems stacked against us – failure seems certain and our confidence and self esteem are sapped from us in the face of the obstacles we face.
However, after chancing upon an amazing little poem called “The Race” recently, I was powerfully reminded of the fact that so often, our confidence and our ability to bounce back in the face of failure is intrinsically linked to our attitude – to how we view our situation.
The central message of the poem is that in order to be successful in your life, you simply have to “rise each time you fall.”
I urge you to read this beautiful poem for yourself, and to view it and hear it narrated in a short video clip.
I guarantee that by the end of the poem, you will be feeling inspired and uplifted!
