What They Didn’t Teach You at School

What They Didn’t Teach You at School

It always amazes me how so many of the fundamental skills we need to function as truly interdependent and self reliant adults were not even discussed, let alone taught during the 11 to 16+ years we spent in school acquiring our “education”.

“Self confidence” is one such case in point…

Fundamental to everything we are, and ever attempt to achieve in our lives, this key skill has been considered “nature” rather than “nurture” by those responsible for our education – that is, it is something that we are (or are not) born with, rather than a skill that we can develop, such as playing an instrument or learning a new language.

This misconception is well and truly exposed and dispelled in an excellent new e-Book by authors Natalie Dee and Hani Al-Qasem, who show in a down to earth, highly pragmatic approach how the development of self confidence really is a step by step skills development program, rather than a random condition of our birth.

As they point out in their recently launched e-Book, “Self-Confidence Building in 7 Steps”;

“Lack of self-confidence is often a very subtle underlying issue that many people face and avoid talking about due to their lack of self-confidence!”
“Lack of self-confidence can be the cause of internal anxiety, stress, failure to achieve our life’s goals, poor decision making in personal or business matters, unhappiness, reduced quality of life and so on…”
“The evidence is, however, that every single one of us is definitely confident at something in our lives. Therefore, we do have and we do experience self-confidence in certain situations…”
